A Portrait of Self-observation Print

Ukrainian artist from Fastiv. Currently in Poland. At the age of 6, my grandmother took me to an art school, where the teacher was a friend of her. “It would be great for her fine motor skills”, she said. After 2 years of drawing jugs and still lifes I began to make a mess out of every art class because I was bored. That is how I got kicked out of an art school. Since that time art has never left me – it appeared in a form of a song, a dance or a piece of craft. But I chose drawing and then I added digital art to my tools of expression. In 2020, during the pandemic, I finally had time to experiment with various media: acrylic paint, watercolor and oil paint. The last one I prefer the most because it enables to work in a slow pace and to build up layers. For now, most of my works represent my thoughts and memories under the effect of war in my country.
