Hi! My name is Chris, known by the artistic name CrieChris and I am a Brazilian artist, from Vitória at Espírito Santo, who believes that art is an extension of my being and my beliefs. My art is focused on botanical references, like flowers and plants, and I started practicing painting on walls in my own home. I like to bring lightness and transformation to people's lives through my work. For me, being an artist is a continuous process of self-knowledge, and I'm always looking to evolve and improve myself. I like to try new things, both in terms of painting techniques and in other areas of my life. Nature has always enchanted me and inspires me in my work. I love smelling the woods, seeing the sunlight between the trees and putting my feet on the ground. Choosing botanical art as a style never made so much sense, and I feel more and more passionate about studying the colors, shadows and balances that nature provides. Being an artist for me is channeling my feelings and emotions into my work, so that I can create amazing things and bring a bit of beauty and calm to the world. I believe in my art as a tool of transformation, and I hope it can bring peace and inspiration to those who see it. ---- Olá! Meu nome é Chris, conhecida pelo nome artístico CrieChris e eu sou uma artista brasileira, capixaba de Vitória, que acredita que a arte é uma extensão do meu ser e das minhas crenças. A minha arte é focada em referências botânicas, como flores e plantas, e eu comecei praticando pinturas em paredes na minha própria casa. Eu gosto de trazer leveza e transformação para a vida das pessoas através do meu trabalho. Para mim, ser artista é um processo contínuo de autoconhecimento, e eu estou sempre buscando evoluir e me aprimorar. Eu gosto de testar coisas novas, tanto em termos de técnicas de pintura quanto em outras áreas da minha vida. A natureza sempre me encantou e me inspira em meu trabalho. Eu amo sentir o cheiro da mata, ver a luz do sol entre as árvores e colocar os meus pés na terra. Escolher a arte botânica como estilo nunca fez tanto sentido, e eu me sinto cada vez mais apaixonada pelo estudo das cores, sombras e balanços que a natureza proporciona. Ser artista para mim é canalizar os meus sentimentos e emoções para o meu trabalho, para que eu possa criar coisas incríveis e trazer um pouco de beleza e calma para o mundo.
