About The Artwork

The Armenian community settled in Lviv during the Mongol-Tatar invasion, driven from the east, shoemakers and tailors, jewelers and priests came here. The powerful walls of centuries-old monasteries and buildings have survived to this day. Entering the Armenian courtyard, we find ourselves in the portal of the past, again in seconds the city bustle disappears, a raven screams alarmingly on the roof of the monastery, and there are only roses among living creatures, carefully planted by the servants of the territory.
