About The Artwork
One of the first paintings from the Self-dissolution series, in which I depicted bathing figures and people immersed in water. Water busts. The model here was me standing in the water of Lake Białe, in the east of Poland. It is a wonderful bathing area with a sandy bottom, clear water with an unparalleled bright color of water. The painting is framed in wooden, gray-painted slats. You can frame it professionally, but you can also keep it and hang it as it is.

I move between different styles, combining abstraction with figuration. Concerning themes and my color palette, I have no restrictions, with one exception: I avoid dramatism in depicted situations. Only the scale between extensive backgrounds and minor human figures or vehicles is constant. I am inspired by Dutch painting, especially by Peter Breughel.
