Sometimes I dream that I don't physically exist, but I am dreaming so that means that I exist in another form... It could be a deconstructed body that flows and feels somewhat into something, wind, liquid, energy... It's so beautiful to be connected with our environment and feel the space of it...✨ This artwork is a narrative way to express this feeling of being out there, no matter our form and where we are in our lives. Rocks struggle with the wind and the pressure of the ocean, but they remain there and over time become old and grounded... I can't wait to spend some time again in l'Alt Emporda, where the wind and the rocks are beautifully shaped in Dali's paintings...

Hi, I am Marina Solé, Mixed media artist. I am from Barcelona living in San Francisco since 2011. What started as a small series of tiny "collages" has evolved into a personal collection of art pieces which I store all around the house like an intimate petit museum to inspire my daily life, in my evolving art process journey. The roots of each piece come from the spirit of nature, old memories, and dAdA art/surrealism, visually shaped in illustrations, oil paintings, collages, and representational sketches. The art I create includes faces, phrases, and places, mixed to evoke beautifully shy effortless nostalgia. Having a passion for what I do is my way of meditation to achieve a neutral state of contentment. The art process drives me to seek innovative ideas, or else revive forgotten ones both pure and sensitive, bringing the colorful ironies of life to the surface.
