About The Artwork

This painting is part of a Geometric Exploration project where simple geometrical forms are explored through color and texture on paper and canvas. This is a minimalistic exploration of squares. Big and small they all pop out against the bright cobalt blue background. Can something black stand out on a dark background? Acrylic on paper (300g/m) 29.7 x 42 cm Sold unframed Titled and signed on the back and comes with certificate of authenticity This artwork will be sent to you carefully packed in protective packaging

My area of interest lies in everyday life. My object of research is merely anything that can be redefined or reinvented with the help of art. My dialogue with the viewer is conducted through painting, which is not just color, but also difference in textures. I am currently working in two directions: creating abstracts and making minimalistic but meaningful paintings. When working on my abstractions I often rely on my own photographs. I am attracted by unusual moments, impressive views and interesting connections. I reinterpret these images, extracting the most vivid impressions, and create artwork that speaks to the viewer in the language of texture and color. I am often focused on the process itself when the initial visual reference is only a starting point, and the final painting is the result of intuitive artistic actions, spontaneous decisions and sometimes even missteps in the course of work.
