Ukraine
Natalia Lugovska was born in 1969 in Zaporizhia, Ukraine. In her youth, she showed an interest in various forms of creativity and crafts, including sewing her own patterns, macramé, and shoe design. One day, she was told about an art course led by a renowned artist, and Natalia enthusiastically joined this creative process. From 2010 to 2012, she studied at the Repin Art School under the guidance of the Honored Artist of Ukraine, Alexander Lysenko. During this period, she delved into the world of art, exploring various art techniques and working in the studios of well-known artists in Kharkiv. Her favorite reference book became Kipling‘s "Technique of Painting." Natalia works in the style of photorealism, using oil paints. Her artworks reflect the pristine nature and the fleeting, unique beauty of the world. She creates sketches based on her own photographs or other images, modifying them in Photoshop. Her goal as an artist is not merely to reproduce an exact image but to create a new reality, emphasizing unique moments and striving toward her ideal. The highlights of Natalia Lugovska's career include her participation in Kiev Art Week 2019 with "Zenko Gallery," her involvement in the "Falling Shadow: Dreams in the Gardens of Giardini" project at the 58th Venice Biennale in 2019, and her participation in the "Kreativ ist de Frau" exhibition in Germany in 2023. The works of this painter continue to inspire audiences and bring beauty and uniqueness to the world of art.
