About The Artwork
Earrings aren't something that you see on canvas very often, so this acrylic painting will be perfect for the person who is looking for something stylish, modern and a little different. Influenced by a Frocktober event with a 'fashion' theme, I wanted to focus on something other than a figurative piece. The painting has subtle textural qualities due to the light application of impasto and hints of bling with silver foil additions. DETAILS The sides of the canvas are charcoal/black in appearance. Certificate of Authenticity. The rear of the canvas is backed with craft paper, date stamped, hooked and wired ready to hang. PACKAGING The utmost care and attention is given to the packaging of each painting created by Nicky Courtman. They are firstly gift wrapped and bubble wrapped. New packaging is always used. Extra protection is provided with an additional corflute or cardboard layer securely fixed to each inner face of the box. Rolled bubble wrap is used to reduce movement of the canvas within its packaging.

I’m an English artist from the Midlands, who now resides in South Australia in the beautiful Adelaide Hills where I display my work in exhibitions and establishments around the state. I enjoy selling to art collectors who have bought and commissioned my work not only locally, but interstate and overseas too. I enjoy practicing both realism and abstract impressionism and believe that constant experimentation and good mistakes on the canvas allow me to evolve as an artist.
