About The Artwork
This painting has a little mystery to it. What is the boy looking at? Is he offering the flower to someone? I got the idea of portraying the boy with the flower from discovering that several artists in the past have done it. But what flower? I had cut those leaf stencils a while back for a border in my apartment and I decided to use them to give the boy a dandelion to hold. A lowly dandelion, but so pretty. The painting is in a custom frame with inlays, created by me.
