Shadow is subconscious desires incompatible with social standards. It is a lower level of the consciousness in the society. It is something that makes things we do not afford. Everybody controls the Shadow. It keeps the past inside, saves some primary desires and aggressive yearnings. However, a person’s shadow side, as a rule, forces out, crushes. According to C.G.Jung, the human being under the Shadow control keeps staying in his own way. Denying all his existence, he evokes unfavourable impression in others and tosses away his real vital perspectives. Together with this, some dark forces appear in his mind that can break through, destroying a code of morals, self-consciousness and absorb the world of consciousness.

The logical explanation of the events and phenomena doesn't matter while the only important thing for me is subconsciousness that exists above the reality.
