About The Artwork

I had a chance to join the local event in small village called Kojetice in Czech Republic. The local people there are not usually meet foreigners especially Asian. They don’t speak English but I can feel honesty and curiosity of them. During the event, they provided beer and traditional barbecued suckling pig. It was fun and there was mini concert of teenage bands in the village. I was created this painting in my mind while I watched one woman she came to dance on the floor alone. When the music started and it’s like she love and into music, she came to the floor and start dancing by her own surrounded by people who sit and stared at her but she didn’t care. On the other hand, she was indulged into music. I feel like she reached the true happiness and freedom at the moment. This painting is the half-naked woman dancing on the floor. The half-naked means revealing who you are without caring of gossip, fashion or rules in society. The long waving skirt is enjoying freedom to live.

Early in her career, June (JP Pemapsorn) began her pursuit of her true calling as a visual artist, initially inspired by her father’s work as an architect. Her passion for the visual expression of emotion translates into each piece she creates, using techniques such as realism, impressionism, surrealism, or abstract. Her work moves the viewer by creating an internal energy which motivates an exploration uncovering the complexities of each piece. June works both as a solo artist and as a creative director with teams of other artists. She has worked extensively internationally with works in her native Thailand, and as far afield as Vietnam, Japan, Australia, Latvia, Italy, Poland, and the United States. Her work encompasses commercial television work, cultural street mural work for embassies and organisations, the construction of entire 3D art museums and a large-scale digital art project for the Thailand National Memorial. June’s success has continued through the pandemic, with her diversifying into the production of NFTs: winning numerous first places in competitions for Thailand NFT Art Competition 1. In addition, she has been pre-selected as a contributing artist for the Jaguar Parade 2022 in New York City. While she is at peace working with realistic portrayals, her real passion is surrealist and abstract art, which allows her to express ideas and emotions, culminating in exhibitions which influence others in a unique and almost visceral manner.
