About The Artwork
A memory of a walk at dusk along Fire Island Beach. I wanted to give the impression of a gradually cooling heat, sandy toes and good company. I used a variety of techniques including scraping acrylic and glue, pouring thinned oil paint and white spirit as well as careful brushwork.
