Barb is largely a self taught artist, although she has studied aspects of painting and art history at the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design. She has received several awards in juried exhibitions, and presently serves as a director on the board of a local artists organization. She has also been involved in many charity organizations over the last few years. Barbs work has been exhibited through several galleries, both solo and group shows, presently a feature artist for the Pacific National Exhibition Prize Home. Her paintings are represented in private and corporate collections in Canada, U.S.A. and Europe.Her work here combines an abstract, decorative style with contemporary influences.Original artwork produced by Canadian artist, primarily abstract impressionism.
