Now I look at this painting, Shapes over blue and green, and I realize its true meaning ... this painting was painted before my father's death and it is the announcement of his departure journey. Here the sun is almost disappearing on the horizon he leaves the black boat at the bottom of the painting, inscribed on the same circumference of the sun. It is the first time that the boat appears and from here on it will become a key element. The sun will no longer be there, instead the moon will appear. Transparencies in gold from the sun fade upwards and the blue of the sky fades downwards. The two dimensions begin to interpenetrate.

I was born in Mendoza, Argentina and I currently live in Spain. Each stage of my life is embodied in the work as a biography. So in these moments my work has released metaphors and concepts becoming abstract. When I start painting, only colored surfaces come out, throbbing planes of diffuse limits, veils on each other that create depths and doors to mystery. Colors that communicate with each other. Colors that seem not combinable come together or touch each other creating harmonies, vibrating, sharing space, empowering each other. In the creative moment everything arises by itself. The colors, the glazes, the forms appear and I marvel at what I see as if I saw a film! Without associated thought, colors become pure spirituality.
