This work looks at a situation where the female takes a dominant position in a romance, in a society echoing with #metoo. This work was inspired by Gostave Klimt's 'the kiss' where the man seem the dominate the act. The question here is, 'is the male allowed to say metoo?'

Akachukwu, chukwuemeka (akabeks) was born in Amata Mgbowo of Enugu State in Nigeria. He is a 1998 graduate of painting from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a studio artist residing in Abuja, Nigeria. My art is like a collection of short stories. Each piece is a complete narrative yet, each piece is a part of other pieces. My current works explore narratives of writers of African descent using synthetic dye and acrylic on canvas. I am particularly interested in books listed in ‘African Writers Series' because they tell undiluted African stories, and books by writers of ‘Igbo origin’ because they speak to ‘my soul’.
