INCH; 39X39 – original individual painting What does Jesus wants to say when he told John “Here is your mother.”?’ Those words of Jesus are most of all a very human act. We can see Jesus as real human who does something human, it’s an act of love versus his mother when he entrusts her to John to have her safe. A lonely woman, in the orient that time, was an impossible situation. Entrusting the mother to John and John to his mother Jesus is acting really human with a profound human feeling. This to me seems really great, very important, that before any theology we see this true humanity this real humanism in Jesus. This of course relates to different dimensions, not just the single moment, but it is about history in general.
