About The Artwork
Artwork explores African wildlife using vibrant blocks of color with highlights in fluorescent paint and spontaneous paint drips that add texture to the canvas. I wanted to create bold portraits of animals that catch your eyes and stare back at you, holding your gaze as you move around the room. The idea was to treat animal portraits. The mix medium has always been my preferred technique as I believe it is a very convenient medium within the realistic, I do love the feeling of acrylic material on my fingers and hands, mixing and playing with the substance is essential in my my opinion to stay close to my artwork until it is finished.
