About The Artwork
Whatever the father figure is, he is a strong, indestructible and trustworthy individual. It takes its place in the first triangle in the process of forming the spirituality of the baby. In my works, I identify the father figure with the octopus. I'm telling you how an octopus hugs his child, protects him, and shows affection, like a father. To own a part of himself or not. Here's the key point "not" is how powerful a thing is. Hugging the baby of another octopus as if it were his own. To watch it with the eyes of the heart, feeling it at any moment, even with the eyes closed.

Onder Ozgenc was born in 1994 in Turkey. He graduated from Konya Selcuk University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department in 2016 with a degree. He has illustrations in various magazines published in Germany and Turkey. He earned his master's degree from Akdeniz University Fine Arts Institute Painting Department in 2018. After completing his master's degree in 2021, he decided to continue his life as an artist. He currently lives in Konya, Turkey. The important themes in Ozgenc's art are father, child and sensuality. The artist wants the viewer to see a father's devotion to his child, accompanied by expressive colors. His works, which he uploaded pieces from his own life, also include longing for his past. While creating his works, he used criteria such as symbol, texture, color and form and aimed to give a surreal taste with striking colors.
