A painting from the series "Paradise Gardens", which is the result of a fascination with gardens, vegetation and its influence on humans and their psyche. Today, people often forget that they are a part of nature, an organism related to others, destined to live in symbiosis with the world. They separate themselves from it with walls, gadgets and mechanisms. Meanwhile, their bodies longs for contact with nature. The feeling of relief, peace and bliss that he feels in gardens, among plants, animals is sometimes even overwhelming. This is what the paintings from this series are about. The garden is shaped by humans to enhance the sense of beauty. Plants bred for beauty, arranged in patterns, among abstract shapes, figures and compositions. So it is not the raw beauty of nature, but in a way changed by the human concept, enhancing the healing beauty of nature. Paradise, Eden is such a place that not only the human body misses, but also his soul, which is why it is so attractive. The painting "Kompozycja z Kaladium", as well as other paintings from this series bring to the interiors the spirit of these gardens, dignity and pure joy of life.

I am a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. My work is "bipolar": figurative and abstract. Both ways complement each other and inspire. Although seemingly they seem to be completely separate, they "nourish" my work, not letting myself burn out. Their common part is color and a reference to dreams, in which nothing is impossible, and parallel worlds permeate. My art is my way to enjoy the world, its beauty and share it with people. In my abstract works, I consider each painting as a separate world, a separate reality that I discover and explore. I like to use forms and shapes associated with nature. Forms similar to leaves, boats, stones, scales. Contours of known reality in an unknown world. I observe their interactions among forms and colors. They float in them and define this world, organize, or allow this world to define it. https://issuu.com/arthabens/docs/biennial.ed.xii
