I wanted a painting very colourful with rich colours, I wanted the painting to make a statement to look stunning hanging on a wall with the right lighting. I love painting people, but I don’t want to just paint portraits, I want my people to have a bit of character, a little of the night about them I want them to be special. For me the Lovers collection is a very important part of my work, I love working with beautiful colours, I love the form they take, I love the beauty, the feeling, the glow it generates, I try to capture that glow with every brush or knife stroke. ‘The Lovers in arms’ is depicting two exquisite lovers locked In an embrace. Painted mainly with a knife I wanted “The lovers” to look comfortable, ageless, of indeterminate origin or nationality, but above all at ease with themselves. My art is unique you won’t see it anywhere else it comes from my mind my dreams my imagination. This is a one of a kind artwork, created and painted by me. I always sign my work on the front of each painting, you will receive a certificate of authenticity with your painting.
