Fei is an emerging artist, located in Ipswich, Queensland. She was awarded an Honorable mention in the Feros Care art competition in 2021. Recently, her artwork has been exhibited in the 2022 Dancing Colours St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital Art Exhibition and the 2021 Recovered Futures Art Exhibition. Working primarily with acrylic or watercolour, Fei's creative process is deeply intertwined with her personal struggles with mental health and life's challenges. Many of her work draws upon the raw beauty and power of the natural world to evoke emotions and ideas which are often difficult to describe with words. Fei's creative process also involves a lot of experimentation in the search for the right look or colour to convey the mood and meaning in each work. This approach allows Fei to push the boundaries of her medium and discover new techniques of expressing herself. She sees every painting as a learning opportunity and seeks to create works that resonates with others, in the hope of raising awareness and encourage a conversion about people's struggle with life and mental illness.
