On hot summer days, my children and I escaped the heat by a mountain river in the forest. It was cool, green and fresh there. I was struck by the beauty of the stones and the spots of light on them that made their way through the thick foliage. And I really wanted to draw a light greenish trunk of an old tree on the shore...

I truly fell in love with the nature of Armenia, which I try to capture in my works. I love to paint landscapes, I really like to draw flowers and portraits of people, I like to draw from life. I now live in the very beautiful city of Dilijan in the mountains. I really love to travel and discover new places, which inspire me a lot.
