Antonio Cotecchia is an artist born in Salerno in the south of Italy, where the colors and the fragrances of the Amalfitan cost influenced his feelings and colors. After attending the Art School in Salerno he moved to Milan where he attended the renowned Academy of Fine Arts of Brera (Milan) where he graduated in painting. After a mainly artistic education Antonio started to work many years ago in the graphic design and Internet, but he finds interesting any area where he can express and try new artistic styles. Antonio Cotecchia is Art Director, painter, illustrator, freelance graphic designer working with some Italian communication agencies. “I like to express what is deeply in my soul. The nasty I have inside, the fear, the happiness, the feelings, the world in front of me is filtered within the pleats of my soul where it takes root. My style is influenced from expressionism, cubism and pop art.” Each work is a story that you can feel within the expression of the represented characters and within the joints of the twisted images. ”Art is the plectrum to thrill the strings of everybody’s soul.”
