We can find them all around us, but do we ever really see them for what they truly are? How many times have you thought of them as a "passageway", how many times have you even given them the credit they deserve, how many times have you realized their importance just at that moment when you stood in front of them or passed through them? Behind them, stories well hidden or revealed by something familiar. True stories, sometimes beautiful and sometimes not. Stories that can sound similar or totally different. Forever witnesses of our most personal moments and our fierce protectors and allies. They either keep us safe or locked up. At times they encourage us to come face to face with our deepest desires and at other times they expose us to the most complex situations. An integral part of our lives. Some people consider them as something ordinary, for me however they form the passage that leads me to start a new journey. Doors. Doors of all kinds. Doors of any time and place. Doors are my topic, my work and the most profound source of my inspiration.

Art has always been my passion and always will be. I fell in love with drawing and painting from the very first moment I could hold a pencil. Growing up I wanted to become a lawyer, but I knew that my heart belonged to art - and I had to listen to my heart. I therefore studied Fine Art in Manchester School of Art, then did a two-year Masters degree in the same field in Central Saint Martins, London. I strongly believe that art is the most profound type of power and that more than anything else, it can change this world - for better or worse. Since then I have participated in various group exhibitions and held a big solo exhibition in 2018 in Cyprus,with more than 900 visitors in just one day (a huge event compared to the size of my island!). I am mostly known for my door series paintings, an ongoing project that I ADORE and people seem to love. I am fascinated by all the hidden stories behind these everyday yet extraordinarily beautiful objects as well as all the abstract art they create with the passage of time. I am currently working in a Private School in Limassol and plan to become a full time artist soon.
