Description the painting: «It always surprises me how beautiful and how different the sea in Greece can be. Today it can be ultramarine colors, and tomorrow it is pale blue. And so, having seen snow-white boats on the background of a light-turquoise sea from the balcony in Afitos (where an extraordinary panorama opens up), I could not pass by. Having established a sketchbook and putting the canvas, I began to write. Throughout the work on the etude, that cozy path that passes through the thickets of cypresses, pines and olive trees has attracted me to the sea. After spending three hours with a brush in my hands under the scorching sun, finally, the study was completed, and now with a sense of satisfaction it was possible to go down from the balcony, walk along the same alluring path and plunge into the cool and gentle Mediterranean Sea. I called my etude ... "Road to the sea ...".» Ksenia Yarovaya is a Russian native who now makes her home in Greece. She graduated from the best art Academy of Painting Sculpture and Architecture in Russia. He is an honorary member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Union of Artists of Northern Greece. Her high talent and skill are recognized by art critics and art curators, her ability to see and feel nature is unique. Her works are always original, sophisticated, permeated with the poet's philosophy and they always exist in one exclusive version. All these achievements made her paintings very desirable in private collections around the world and respected art galleries. Awarded UNESCO GOLD medal for contribution to culture.
