About The Artwork

The work "Rosenstrauch" (rose bush) was created in February 2022 and is another work by the artist in which she explores the abstraction of nature. The work was inspired by a rose bush, or more precisely by its bright blossoms, which stood right outside her flat. The combination of static and flowing (dynamic) elements in the picture is characteristic for this period of creating art. The artistic-technical question is: How many static elements are possible before the overall impression becomes static? How many dynamic elements are necessary to counteract the static elements? How can harmony be achieved in the painting despite contrasting elements? During the time in which the artist has dealt with static elements in her pictures, she has used various techniques to create them, in this case by masking them and leaving them out. This work, which is typical for the artist, is characterised by radiant colours, a powerful overall effect of the work and the dynamic brushwork that underlines the dynamic elements (or is a dynamic element itself). Despite the abstraction, the viewer should recognise the beauty of nature and the power of its colours and be captivated by them. The artistic-technical approach prevents the work from being perceived as exclusively "nice". The painting will be taken off the wodden frame and only the canvas will be shipped to the buyer.

intuitive, self-taught, abstract-experimental, expressive artist born 1984 in Germany based now in Agios Stefanos, Kerkyra, Greece painting since autumn 2016, mainly with acrylic colours, creating colour- and powerful paintings To paint and create art - so I follow the call of my heart. All my artworks are created intuitively without pre-drawing or reherasal, because in my experience the energy of the first image is the most intense. I let the painting develop itself, I am not fixed on one style - I paint and create as the current artwork requires. Nature inspires me as well as what I have experienced, seen, felt, thought and meditated on. The focus of my artistic work is about the themes "power" and "energy" as well as the power, the effect and the interplay of colours. Since some time I deal in my paintings with the combination of dynamic and static elements - exploring the question how much dynamic is nessecary to keep the painting vively and how much static is possible before the painting is in itself static. My goal is to captivate viewers through the effectof the artworks and to create a resonance to the paintings in them. Driven by the idea that in simplicity there is much power, truth and clarity, I refer to simplicity stylistically. In my opinion this is the key to keep on one side my work tangible and on the other to give viewers enough space to find their own access to my artworks.
