About The Artwork

If you google it, you will find quite a lot of information regarding the hormones of love, how hugging someone for longer than 6 seconds you start releasing some of the hormones, 10 seconds being the real deal. It looks like that, in order to fall in love with someone, there must be some hormones working their magic, without them you could meet the same person and nothing will happen .... It's a chemical reaction: Dopamine+Oxytocine+Serotonin=LOVE Love is beautiful, love is life and, because of that, I have a thing about painting hearts.

Currently based in Geneva, Switzerland, I am originally from Barcelona, Spain. It wasn’t until 2006 that I had the opportunity to attend art lessons for the first time. I immediately fell in love with the challenge and possibilities that a blank canvas presents. Since I was frequently relocating to different countries with my husband and children, in 2008, I decided to quit my corporate career. From then on, paints and easel have become part of my journey. The experiences lived in the countries I have called home alongside my Mediterranean heritage are my key sources of inspiration. My background in finance and accounting also influences my work, making me rationalise the free flow of the brushstrokes and giving a calculated and structured approach to my paintings. My artworks blend abstract and figurative styles with geometrical elements in some works and a touch of realism in others. My art has been included in international group exhibitions in Europe and Asia and exhibited at the Affordable Art Fair in Singapore.
