About The Artwork

I really like Henry Moore's sculpture. his sculptures installed outdoors seem to a gathering place for power. The way I see the landscape is a similar experience. The memories that became the subject matter in this painting were created through travel. Hawaii's majesty was quite impressive. Seeing has always been the case, but I was interested in seeing the majesty with two small eyes. This suddenly felt like a fun idea and I wanted to try this special sublime in a very small size. The towering terrain and the waterfalls in it are incredibly harmonious. I wanted to express musically harmony the relationship between the amount of light falling on it and objects. It is expressed as a curve that continuously connects along the depth. I intended to perceive objects and shadows a little, and was conscious of perspective. I want this painting to be seen as abstract. Colors with the paint and texture left on the surface. I really like the exotic scenery, which has strong mountains and strong light. Obviously, in the canvas it wasn't the mountains and the lights and things. It was just a moment. It was just another object that would soon disappear into memory. I left a poetic mark to celebrate this moment and keep it forever.

" Colors produce the most beautiful when I most honestly reveal emotions. " I am a painter based in Seoul. The structural observation of Mother Nature through curves and primal forces is a visual element connected to musical composition techniques. I was strongly attracted to musical composition techniques, especially serialism, and at the point when I tried to use the musical forms of Messiaen and Schinberg in paintings, the perspective of representation in my paintings from looking at real objects had already changed significantly. My view of art is completely connected to Greek and Roman art and oriental calligraphy, blank space aesthetic conditions. Henri Matisse(1869-1954) still plays a guiding role in my paintings. decoration is pursued within two-dimensional synthesis. This is because I am a person who pursues purity in life. That is when I am happiest. The ultimate reason for drawing is to think deeply about how and to what extent I should act within the triangle of human will and freedom.
