About The Artwork

"Two fields with center" thus illustrates the inner turmoil. A visual oxymoron: Two extremely different elements exist side by side as well as with each other. Like the Taoist principle of yin and yang, one is contained in the other. At first glance, supposedly split and separated by the middle, the elements, on closer inspection, show themselves as a complementary pair. Tribute to the wind An essential feature of my artistic work is to establish the relationship between my inner being and external presentation, as well as to bring my own center in line with the external situation. So that which "outside" internalizes, search the center and return to "outside". In this artistic process I channel the happenings of "outside" with my feelings, mixing them with creativity, imagination, vision, knowledge and material. As if in a tunnel, everything blends into an entity that suits me. My irony is the irony of indifference. Ironically, the dystopian and utopian picture coincides. I arouse the dystopian picture of how the world presents itself to me today, by means of color pigments new hopes for the viewer. In climate change islands disappear, in my picture they are still there, but the sky is thick with red oil smeared by the wind and the water has already turned yellow. The result is an aesthetic echo whose sensuality lets forget about climate change or not. A wintry sunset in the Valle di Muggio, Switzerland, plunges the aubergine-colored forest into a sea of red crabs. My choices for the pigments are Opal Red and Xiralic® NXT F260, which I reconcile with other color pigments. I catch the red crabs, so to speak, and put them in there where no one suspects them.
