About The Artwork
Made at night between winter and spring, during lockdown - thinking about sunny days and warm summer evenings with friends and family. I had a fine bottle of Bistrotage brut extra champagne in the fridge - painted the top of the cork, as the right balance of sparkle and freshness. The painting was bought by a gentleman from France who, as I understand, has a passion for wines and knows his deal. An honour for me.
