About The Artwork

“The Labyrinth of Minotaur”: Drawing inspiration from Greek mythology’s labyrinth where Minotaur was imprisoned, each fragment represents paths leading nowhere; it’s an embodiment of despair where hope is as fragmented as self-identity. The painting is a haunting visual narrative that draws its sinister beauty from the ancient Greek myth of the Minotaur, a creature half-man, half-bull, imprisoned within an intricate labyrinth. In this artwork, the labyrinth is not constructed of stone and mortar but is woven from the threads of despair and hopelessness. Each fragment of the painting represents paths leading to dead ends; it’s an embodiment of despair where hope is as fragmented as self-identity. The figures in the painting are trapped in their own personal labyrinths - their bodies contorted and face obscured, symbolizing a loss of self and identity. The vibrant yet somber hues paint a tale of souls ensnared in eternal torment, echoing the fate of those lost within mythical labyrinths. Their hands reach out, not to escape but to touch once more what they have lost - their humanity. Every stroke on this canvas echoes with silent screams and whispers of souls lost within themselves; every color reflects not just paint but emotions deep and dark; every fragment tells tales not just of individuals but humanity ensnared by its own creations – fears, doubts, despairs. It’s an art piece that doesn’t just reflect light but absorbs emotions; it doesn’t just hang silently on walls but resonates with silent screams echoing through time – from ancient myths to modern realities.
