Barie Bitch is a character that emerges as a result of the fusion between two cultural icons separated in time and space. Each of them represents a different worldview and when mixed, I intend to resignify them and question the culture in which we are immersed. Our relationship with the natural, with our body, the aesthetic canons and even our conception of the current symbols of economic success and prosperity. I try to problematize these issues and generate a reflective look on all these issues. The development of this character allows me in successive instances to address themes from ecology, violence, our religious / sobolic conception, sexuality; putting in a relative place everything that today we consider exiomatico. Painting is one of the means chosen for the development of Barbie Bitch but I have also expressed it in volume and I intend to continue exploring various artistic techniques. Always with a bizarre but at the same time naive aesthetic. I am inspired by the kitch and the baroque, but I also take grotesque and pop art elements.
