About The Artwork

Tree of life The tree has always symbolized life, it is the element that varies the most during its existence, from when it is born until it dies. The tree of life is a symbol known in numerous cultures, each of which names it in different ways and gives it mystical and magical meanings. The roots of trees are the connection with the lower worlds while, in the same way, the branches must be considered, which offer themselves to the sky and allow us to connect to higher worlds. Life should be seen as the tree. Trees allow us to evolve, to improve from the spiritual point of view, starting from the lower worlds to reach the higher ones. In this work the tree of life is represented as an agglomeration of human figures that intertwine and connect to form the tree to symbolize the inseparable union between man and nature. This bond is too often forgotten by man who, instead of seeing himself as part of the natural system, sees himself as the master of this planet and a reckless consumer of its limited resources. This symbolic representation also underlines how only by the community as a whole it is possible to preserve this planet and bring it back to safe waters.
