About The Artwork
When we arrived on holidays to Italy this summer, we had to do five days of quarantine. So I've dedicated myself to paint. This is the view of the balcony from my house. You can see the Tour de l'Archet, the old residency of the Count of Savoy. All the houses are made of stones and are from the thirteen century. I did this work with pastels and used a lot of pastel pencils for the detail.

I am a new artist, pretty much self-taught, with some formal learning at the Blackheath Conservatoire with Simone Willems, now taking another course at the Conservatoire to use as studio time.
