About The Artwork
I’ve painted trees and flowers for as long as I can remember... with the years I’ve come really comfortable at portraying florals in my own style, but I’ve always felt a little stuck with trees. My sketchbooks are full of explorations and interpretations of trees; but something was always missing.... this year (as I find myself growing as a person and grounding myself) trees appeared once again in my sketchbook, but this time these trees of life came straight from my soul, from my own pursue of joy and self love It’s hard for me to explain how much I love them because it goes beyond how beautiful they are, they are literally pieces of me, carrying all the optimism, joy and love I have in me. It’s my way of putting lobe back into life and show my gratitude towards the hardship that has finally grounded me

I´m a self taught artist, I have painted and created all of my life, I honestly can't remember a time in my life were I didn't! I had my first solo art show in 2004 and I've been pursuing art solely and formally since 2017; since then I've come to terms about being self taught, and I feel proud and happy with my progress and with the quality of my work. I paint because creating is where I'm most true to myself. It is a great expression of self love where I lose my fears and I create from a place of calmness and self awareness.
