True colors Print

This picture has the name "True colors" because it was created with the aim to show the true colors of the world around us in all its manifestations. These are scarlet clouds during sunset, and the azure sea, and the dark night, and the colors of green on a hot summer day and the golden rays of the flowing sun caressing the skin. Nature is gentle and fragile. A young African-American girl with graceful shoulders and curly hair is a comparison of all the beautiful things that modern society destroys every day. I adhered to bright, pure and natural colors that can touch every viewer looking at it. A thick layer of oil and palette knife created on the surface of the canvas a stunning texture that attracts you to touch it. The main inspiration for me was the work of the great Claude Monet, André Derain, as well as descriptions from the work “Dandelion Wine” by Ray Bradbury.
