This is the balcony where we began our journey growing up. In the series of chess paintings this is the spot to leave home. We’re going to play a game of check. It’s not easy to find your way in the grown up world. You see pawn falling, but they will be caught and helped back in the game. There’s no horizon everything is possible. I like working with oil paint slow drying gives me time to make gentle, subtle changes of color. The paining is framed is a simple light wooden frame hanging hardware included.
