This artwork is made by overlapping colored layers of wool. Inspired by Kandinsky, I outlined two profiles: a man and a woman, face to face, one white and one black, with their eyes directed upwards, as in a prayer in which they say their own wishes. White and black signify Yin and Yang energies and their desires, those colored "bubbles", float in love, in that red space. I use wool so that the viewer can feel the warmth of love and , who knows, identify with one of the two characters. The back of the work is stabilized, such that the painting cannot be damaged. The work will come together with a little attention from me: a small postcard hand-painted with acrylics and signed, as a sign of respect for your appreciation. The work having a chassis, can be hung directly on the wall, if you do not want a personalized frame. Dimensions: 50 x 70 x 3 cm.

Romania
My name is Daniela Andrei. I was born in Hunedoara, 10.10.1967, Transilvania, Romania. I work and live in Bucharest, Romania. First , I studied exact sciences at the University in Bucharest, than, much later, arts at the University of Arts in Bucharest, where I also obtained my master' s degree. I turned to art later, from an inner calling for which I have not found any logical explanation until now...and I let myself be carrying away... In 2022, I opened my own studio, near the Bucharest, on the bank of a plain river, in a village called Moara Vlasiei, where I want to teach the children from the country, everything I have managed to accumulate, such as work- techniques and to develop their sense of beauty. My works are inspired by everything I see around me and love : nature and people. I like to experiment working with various natural materials: wood, clay, wool, because I feel them closer to me and because they charge me with positive energy. The colors give me a feeling of well-being and joy and that' s what I try to convey to everyone through my work.
