About The Artwork

There's a legend about a witch trial in Szeged- hence the name of this part of the shore of the river Tisza. I like the old trees here, and the mood of the place. The site located near the Railway station, close to the city. One foggy day i decided to get out there, and managed to make a few nice enough photo- later i did studies, and this painting. It's on a wooden panel, and by the time of it's making- early 2016- i've considered it my best; i've spent a lot of time to work on it in a very close space. Hanging materials not included, but i can get a frame on it, if requested.

I always wanted to be a writer. How did i end up with paining? It's simple- i had no inspiration in writing. So i went to the teachers training, and there they asked me: "Okay, exactly what do you want to teach?" I had no idea by then, so i choose "Arts&Crafts", becouse that sounded like fun. It turned out pretty soon, that it IS fun, indeed. I graduated as an art teacher; with awful drawing and painting skills, but with a lot of enthusiasm. I went to Szeged, became a teacher, and while i was busy teaching pupils, i was working on my own skills as well. Paining is fascinating. I like to do it- i like it even more than teaching. The process of creation, the preservation of the moment and sight; i want to do this for the rest of my life. So i'm into landscapes now, but also, i want to learn portrait painting/drawing; we'll see if i can come up anything you're interested in. I will try, for sure :)
