I love the idea behind this ancient symbol that has been reworked for thousands of years. It stands for the female energy (the top half) verses the male energy, which is the bottom half. I couldn't wait to create this painting and I allowed the flow and design to happen organically. I love the way it turned out. It has a very harmonic quality.
