The full title of this piece is “You’d Better Hold Onto Chekhov’s Gun, She Said, You Never Know When You Might Need It. “Chekhov’s Gun” is a dramatic principle that suggests details within a story or play will contribute to the overall narrative - much like every mark on a painting. This painting was shortlisted as a finalist for the Watowa Award 2023 and was exhibited at their gallery in Tokyo (Dec 2023 - January 2024). This piece is produced on high quality (wide edge) canvas and is protected with a matt varnish. It is signed, dated, and titled on the reverse side. ***This piece is set to be shipped unstretched (rolled in a PVC tube) as it is cheaper for the collector.
