Seeing yachts in the marina outside of a restaurant for the evening. Chanign the view to be more abstract with a rainbow of colors. This Contemporary Museum Mount is an amazing way to display and present art work by offering a clean, simple display and modern look. This image display provides dimension and appears to “float” from the wall. This versatile display option is sure to match any room or décor. The image is printed on Dibond Direct, which is a lightweight alternative to aluminum . Dibond is perfect for archival pieces and and large print mounting. Dibond is tough enough to be commercially rated for outdoor use and building cladding, which makes it a perfect print medium for indoor or outdoor use. InkJet printers spray the CMYK ink directly onto the brushed metal surface. Since the ink is not 100% opaque, you will see the brushed texture throughout the print. But in the highlight / white areas, you see the silver texture peeking through. No paper or lamination is used in this process, which means Dibond is extremely resistant to weathering and corrosion – and humidity! Dibond is so versatile that it’s used to construct office buildings. Under the proper lighting conditions, these prints really come to life and add a whole new sense of attitude to the scene! Think canvas is passé? Don’t want another picture in a frame? Had enough of thin, super shiny metal prints? Break free from basic prints! Have some attitude with your next art purchase. I was born at the hospital in Ft. Benning, GA to an Army doctor. I was an Army brat until the age of 7 when we moved to Jackson, TN. I studied art when in high school. I began with assisted finger painting while in primary school. Them took a pastel workshop. Most everything else is self taught. I became a Commercial Interior Designer and worked in that field for 20+ years. I have tinkered in art for most of my life and am now retired. I have the time now to pursue art and other pleasures such as Ballroom dancing and needlework. I have lived in many parts of the US. I currently live in Wilmington, NC. My preferred forms of art are oils (landscapes, small focus, realism). I am begining to use digital photography to see how imagess can be manipulated as well as record nature. I am also doing acrylic pour abstract painting.
