Hope and Time Print - Limited Edition of 3

​This work depicts a dreamy image of a woman watering a bonsai tree. She is standing in front of a double glass window filled with paper wrapping, candys and school cones. The work represents the notion of time, seen as past, present and future and the hope ​​which is always omnipresent in each stage of time. Past being predicted by the remnants of a school initiation party draped in a window. The present being the woman at the window and the future, which is represented by the watered bonsai tree. ​I choose to use windows in my work, as they represent freedom, hope, and a gate to another world or consciousness. Whatever I place in the window becomes associated with that symbolism and therefore can be associated as either an amplifier for positive change or a warning of an obstacle to it. The medium is photography. ​
