As a teenager I was a romantic daydreamer with sharpened senses. Loved writing poetry, sitting on the beach, watching the waves, sharing my secrets with the sea. I lived my childhood days by the sea, met my first love by the sea and I return to the sea again and again with my underwater photographs. Didn’t know if I was to become a poet, an artist or a photographer, just did what I felt in my heart. It was always genuine. Every work of my art expressed a piece of my personality. The human being is the crown of creation and it is an exciting challenge for me to seek and capture this perfection through the eye of the camera. Underwater light and shadows create striking paintings and the weightless body merges with the flora and fauna in a mystical, though harmonious way. My underwater fairy-tale images are a kind of escape from reality into another world, a way to save my artistic spirit creating art as an innermost need.
