This was taken in South Africa, I was actually shooting a fashion shoot for the modelling agency. The model was Canadian, and she had her young son with on the shoot and her mother. The toddler was confused during the shoot and often needed to comfort feed. The model's mother tried to keep the little boy away, but he became distressed. As she lay out on the ground with her hair laid out in an almost Raphaelite way. I knew the toddler needed to be comforted and I had the camera on a tripod. As the child nursed I saw the beauty and took the photo. The child with his shot of white blond hair and his beautiful mother and the bond between them both.
