About The Artwork
When I walk around the city, I'm not necessarily attracted to the imposing buildings and shining glass or steel. I like the dirty, dingey details like graffiti. What a lot of people see as an unattractive nuisance, I see as a story. It's interesting to think of who is behind the messages and images and what they're communicating. I also love how all the different tags interact, creating a unique fabric that's impossible to imitate. With added color and composition, I hope to get others to stop and think about how they view graffiti and the ugly details of life in general.
