Reflected 2 series no 3 Print

In 2014, I applied for I: 0 Koktebel Art Residence Bahçecik Edition and was accepted . The residence space was located on the edge of wild forests in the mainland of Anatolia, Izmit . My project included finding wood pieces like the ones , I found in the Burgazada forest in 2003 - also ı used to my other photograph series - photographing and producing video art to be shown in a movie theater . While I was sure I would find what I was looking for, I should not have made any special effort to find them . In other words, I should've traveled in the forest, appreciating it's beauty and listening to what it had to tell me . I could thereby see, what mother nature wanted to show me through all that's made up the forest . That is to say, you volunteer to get lost in the woods and your heartbeat speeds up as the wild boars pass by . You hear the grunts of the bears, but they aren't even interested in you .. As it got dark, I was able to get out of the forest with my hands and pockets full . I was about to go mad with the beauty and excitement of the gifts given .
