Limited edition Nr. 3 of 20 Signed and numbered by the autor himself. Document confirming the authenticity and source. Printed on Hahnemühle fine art paper. StadtBad Neukölln. Berlin, Germany. 2011 With its opening in 1914, the public pool was already considered to be among Europe’s most beautiful pools. Today, it is still one the largest facilities of its kind. Architect reinhold Kiehl designed the model after an ancient thermal bath, bringing about an ensemble of public bath and library. A dome construction with skylight and a round plunge pool belonged to the Russian/Roman bathing facility. After the reconstruction of 1984, the sauna area of the Heritage Protected building was in 1999 newly expanded. Nevertheless, in its form, the pool hardly differs from its 1914 appearance. Large and small indoor pools, originally one for men and women, are with their seven-metre high travertine pillars, corridors and mosaics an image of ancient models, and with their layout lean towards Greek temples and basilicas—an aesthetic bathing enjoyment in a marvellous swimming facility, with an herbal and coloured-light sauna.

Germany
Hailing from Portugal, Renato is currently living and working in Berlin, Germany. Since an early age he showed passion for art and all things creative, using the art of drawing as his “vehicle” of expression. Transporting his surroundings onto a piece of paper was the strongest tool to get him to the point where he is now. With degrees in Arts, Communication and Design in Portugal and Art Direction in Berlin, it's in Photography where he finds his true passion. Freelance photographer since 2005, he has been working in some different photography areas: portrait, advertising, architecture, landscape and also in live performances, like theatre, music and contemporary dance. He’s a member of the Transient Museum of Art and the Berlin Fotografen. Exhibits regularly since 2003 and his work as been awarded by Epson or Sony between others. His latest project "The End Of The Line", a 4 year survey on Berlin's city edges, is now in its final stage and will soon be presented to the Public.
