About The Artwork

The famous Neponset River Bridge.Located in Eastern Massachusetts. Spanning the Neponset River, Between Quincy, and Boston Ma The bridge is a commuters night mare? With the morning commute, there is four lanes of heavy traffic, merging into three, feeding into the famous Neponset rotary circle. Roundabout for those who do not live in Boston. Then; with all that traffic feeds in to one location, the famous Southeast Expressway. another nightmare. Praise the engineers?? I was asked by the city of Boston, to document the bridge and the Rotary, for possible expansion? Hopefully to help ease the traffic Backup. This one view I decided to feed my creative side. I shot this image with my ND Ten stop filter, Camera setting ISO 64, F22, for 90 seconds. With the exposure of 90 seconds, you create movement with clouds and also, soften the water. I shot the bridge in B+ W for dramatic effect. I hope you enjoy the image..

I am a professional photographer since 1970 Working for various News Papers and Magazines. Leather Neck Publication,. Boston Herald, Boston Globe, Patriot Ledger. I still shoot film. Even better, I mostly shoot film. My lab loves me. I've been a professional photographer for more than 30 years. I guess this would explain my penchant for film. I shoot landscapes and architecture in my free time, but I'm still trying to figure out what exactly that is and how to make it happen more often. ,
