I was photographing the individual tulips and poppies growing in Commonwealth Park at Canberra's annual Floriade event when I saw the way these tulips were facing in the afternoon sun with the Ferris wheel behind them.

I still have that camera as it is what got me started and is of great sentimental value. I learned the art on film cameras ad worked as a wedding photographer for 12 years. I moved to Australia in 2011 and my photography has grown since then. I have embraced the digital world and am pushing my art to new levels.
